Podmore was named in the Blues’ squad on the eve of her second game for the Newcastle Knights, a must-win clash with West Tigers at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.
The speedster scored twice on debut against Parramatta Eels last month and again found the try line against the Tigers, topping her side’s season try-scoring list in the process.
Fellow Wagga Viper Andrew Wise was also named as an assistant coach for the NSW mixed open’s side for November’s Origin series.
