The Lions started strongly and never looked like getting beaten on their way to a 49-point victory, 17.17 (119) to 10.10 (70) at Narrandera Sportsground.
With MCUE drawing with Wagga Tigers, it now opens the door for GGGM to look at a potential top-three finish.
GGGM coach Christin Macri was pleased to come away with a strong victory.
“We set the game up early,” Macri said.
“We had the chance to put a few more goals on but didn’t quite finish the game off. They kept coming though, to their credit...but we walk away with a 49-point win so we’re happy.”
Josh Bubnich was brilliant for GGGM in a best-on-ground display.
Riley Corbett kicked six goals in another strong performance, while Jacob Olsson continued his outstanding season.
Narrandera wore special white jumpers on Saturday as part of their prostate and mental health awareness day.
Cooper Irons and Blake Renet were named Narrandera’s best.
