The team produced strong defensive displays throughout their three-day campaign, registering three scoreless draws to open their campaign.
“We went out there and did really, really well,” Knowles said.
“We threw all the players together and credit to them, they’ve been training really hard in the lead up to these championships.”
Knowles laughed off his side’s offensive struggles but was thrilled to finish up in 5th place in Division Three.
“We just couldn’t buy a goal in those first few games … and then we finished off with a scoreless draw against Illawarra South Coast.”
Charlie Kirkby, Aaron Dawson and Ben Sinclair were impressive across the three-day event.
