A QantasLink spokesperson said the fog around Wagga Airport has resulted in the delay of one return service to Sydney this morning.
“Flights QF2220 Wagga-Sydney and QF2221 Sydney-Wagga have been delayed around 2 hours 45 minutes due to weather conditions,” the spokesperson said.
The Daily Advertiser has sought comment from Regional Express, but the company’s tracking site report flights have been delayed.
Rex flight ZL658 was scheduled to leave Wagga for Sydney at 6.30am, but has been delayed for almost three house. Departure time has been pushed to 9.20am.
Flight ZL661 from Sydney to Wagga has also been delayed just over two hours, with departure time pushed until 11.00am.
Earlier in the week, Bruce Copplestone, technical officer at Wagga’s Bureau of the Meteorology at Wagga, told The Daily Advertiser the week’s forecast is below the month average.
The maximum for the days are so far almost spot on average, with forecasts of 12 to 13 degrees until Saturday.
