With the South West and Riverina drivers premiership well and truly sewn up, Jones will line up with seven of the more favoured runners on the eight-race card.
A number look set to start odds-on favourites but Jones struggled to signal out his best chance.
“If I get lucky we might be able to kick a couple home,” Jones said.
“I don’t know what would be my best as not much splits a few of them.
“They are all going pretty good and with a bit of luck they will be in with a chance.”
He thought Girl Of The Glen, who has won two of her last three, Destiny Belle, who is hunting her third win for the week, Sunrising and Bustn Feelz Good, from the better draw, were some of his better chances.
Jones has driven 93 winners so far this season, 10 shy of his best set back in the 2013-14 season, and there is still six weeks of racing to come.
