A 45-year-old woman was rushed to hospital in a stable condition on Thursday morning, following the collision. 

Emergency services rushed to Oura Road at about 11am, following calls a car had “run off the road” and rolled, near Wantabadgery. 

Riverina police Junee chief Rob Vergano said the car had overturned several times before coming to a stop, according to reports. 

Inspector Vergano said investigations continuing into the incident. 

According to Wagga Base Hospital, the 45-year-old woman had arrived in a stable condition, which remained unchanged. 

Inspector Vergano urged Riverina drivers to stay safe on rural and regional roads, especially across the busy school holiday period, with travellers making a beeline for the snow fields. 

He said increased traffic flow only added to road-related hazards, like wildlife and fatigue. 

Inspector Vergano’s warning comes amid Operation Compliance Two, with Highway Patrol officers targeting mobile phone use and defective vehicles. 

Officers are also expected to be on the lookout for drivers, who do not keep left.
