Kennedy will miss Saturday’s clash with Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes and the following week against Turvey Park due to a two-game suspension.
Kennedy was cited by Leeton-Whitton for striking Angus Boulton in the game on July 1 at Crossroads Oval.
The case was referred to the league’s independent investigating officer, who deemed Kennedy did have a case to answer and graded the striking charge as careless, high impact and high contact.
The base sanction was a three-game suspension but Kennedy accepted a two-game ban with an early guilty plea.
