Zachary Kenneth Jacobs appeared in court by video-link from the Junee Correctional Centre, where he has been held in custody since the offences.
Jacobs pleaded guilty to more than 10 offences, including the three police pursuits, larceny, having stolen goods in custody, and driving while disqualified.
The man’s lawyer said he was coming off a very long ice binge that had lasted months at the time of the offences and was suffering serious withdrawals.
The court heard Jacobs drove as fast as 190 kilometres per hour in a 100 zone during one of the pursuits, leaving police with no option but to stop chasing him to avoid injuring someone.
Magistrate Christopher Halburd issued Jacobs with a spate of licence disqualifications and sentenced him to 21 months’ jail with a non-parole period of 12 months for his crimes.
