Two drivers of a Lamborghini Huracán were caught speeding twice on the Hume Highway within one hour on Sunday, July 8.

At about 1pm, Gundagai Highway Patrol detected the vehicle travelling 140km/h at Tumblong, 16km south of Gundagai.
The driver, a 23-year-old male, was issued an infringement notice and fined $472 for exceeding the speed limit by more than 20km/h.
Only 45 minutes earlier, the vehicle was detected travelling 177km/h–185km/h on the Hume Highway between Albury and Holbrook.
The Albury Highway Patrol stopped the vehicle and issued the driver, who held an international driver’s licence, a infringement notice for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h.
The driver was fined $2435 and had his driving privileges in NSW suspended for six months.
The vehicle was recently purchased and was being driven under an unregistered-vehicle permit to a Queensland address.
