The Hawks piled on eight unanswered goals against a new-look South Wagga outfit under lights at Rawlings Park with striker Jake Ploenges leading the way.
Ploenges scored a hat-trick to headline Henwood Park’s big win and was pleased with his side’s overall performance.
“It was a pretty good game from us and I think we’ve all gelled together in the past few games,” he said.
Ploenges’ hat-trick takes him comfortably to the top of the Hawk’s goal scorers list.
The 8-0 win also marks the club’s third in as many weeks and tightens Henwood Park’s grip on third ahead of next weekend’s grand final rematch against Lake Albert.
