Munkara was found guilty of striking Turvey Parks Cooper Diessel by the AFL Riverina independent tribunal on Thursday night.
The tribunal heard that Munkara allegedly struck Diessel a number of times both when he was standing and on the ground.
The striking charge was graded as intentional, high contact and high impact and Munkara was issued with a four-game suspension.
Munkara apologised in his statement and accepted full responsibility.
Munkara will now miss the Hoppers clash with Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes, followed by games against Narrandera, Griffith and Collingullie-Glenfield Park.
Meantime, Griffith under 17s player Broden Piva was issued with a six-game suspension for striking at the AFL Riverina independent tribunal on Thursday night also.
