Six of Riverina’s most talented footballers will take part in the second and third rounds of the AFL under 16 championships next week.
Turvey Park’s Darcy Irvine, Leeton-Whitton’s Coopa Steele, Marrar’s Drew Beaven, Coleambally’s Jack Cullen, Coolamon’s Godfrey Okerenyang and The Rock-Yerong Creek’s Jack Driscoll have all been selected in the NSW-ACT Rams team.
The Rams will take on Queensland at Gold Coast’s Metricon Stadium at 12.20pm on Tuesday.
They will be looking to back up their round one win where they defeated Northern Territory by 62 points.
Cullen and Steele both kicked two goals apiece and were named among the best players in the win over NT.
The Rams will back up on Saturday, July 14, with their final division two game against Tasmania at Yeronga.
