Former Wagga journalist and radio presenter Grant Denyer has received top honours at Australian television’s night of nights.

Mr Denyer, who was a 2AAA-FM presenter and Prime Television journalist, received the Gold Logie at the 60th TV Week Logies on Sunday, July 1 on the Gold Coast.
The Logie recognises him for being the ‘Most Popular Personality on Australian TV’ for his hosting of Network Ten’s Family Feud/All Star Family Feud.
Mr Denyer also received the ‘Most Popular Presenter’ Logie.
During his acceptance speech, Mr Denyer thanked Network Ten’s executives, saying “the last four years have been truly magnificent”.

Steven Spink, breakfast presenter at 2AAA-FM and a friend of My Denyer’s, said he was not surprised about Mr Denyer’s latest achievement.
“Personally, I’m very thrilled and pleased that he’s received a Gold Logie.
“I met him over 20 years ago, so knowing the guy, he’s so full of energy and enthusiasm,” Mr Spink said.
“I think it’s cool to know someone you’ve worked with who has gone on to achieve bigger and better things,” he said.
