Not content with a 119-0 win over their crosstown rivals to start the season, the undefeated ladder leaders scored a 127-3 win on Saturday.
In his return from a toe injury Blake Hart crossed for a hat-trick while Jake Eaglesham bagged three tries as well.
Austion Wallace, Sam Bunny, Corey Toole, Matt Shortis and Tom Hobbs all snared double.
In a hard day to pick just a few stars, Wallace and Eaglesham both stood out.
Scoreline aside, Waratahs coach Richard Skellern was pleased his team finally delivered a full 80 minute performance.
“The boys put in a really rounded performance,” Skellern said. “We’ve finally strung it together for 80 minutes, which is amazing.”
It has been something Skellern has been looking for the team to do so a long time now.
Now that it has happened he’s hoping to continue it.
“It has been something we’ve wanted all year and now we can march on from her to take on Rivcoll (CSU),” he said. “Rivcoll play a much more spoiling game at the break down than what Wagga City do so we have to be ready for that.”
It’s is not all good news for Waratahs with James Grimmett picking up an ankle injury in the win but they will welcome back Xavier Chigwidden to play CSU.
