A 19-year-old Junee resident was left traumatised after the alleged rape on Saturday morning.
Detective Inspector Peter Hayes said the young woman was walking home alone at about 1.30am when she was reportedly approached, taken and sexually molested in a Commins Street park.
It is believed the woman was using a nearby ATM when she was dragged from behind.
The men, believed to be responsible, were described as being of medium build, clean shaven, and were wearing dark-hooded jumpers at the time of the alleged incident.
“(We) are appealing for any information … for anyone who may have seen anything to come forward,” Inspector Hayes said.
“Information can be reported through crime stoppers anonymously.”
The 19-year-old is being treated at Wagga Base Hospital and spoke to police after the incident.
Inspector Hayes said officers were pursuing a number of lines of inquiry, but he urged members of the public to help, if they could.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page.
