Jack Schein and Nazar Yousif both scored hat-tricks in the 6-0 victory as the undermanned Jaguars struggled in front of their home crowd at Burns Park.
United started well and established a 2-0 lead in the early exchanges before Junee’s defence regrouped.
Schein, however, proved a class above and split the defence again in the shadows of halftime, handing United a 3-0 lead at the break.
Yousif stole the limelight in the second half with his haul as United rested Schein and skipper Lincoln Weir.
“Jack’s still got some hamstring tightness and Lincoln’s back isn’t 100 per cent yet so we gave them both rest,” United coach Travis Weir said.
“Nazar had a good game out there but he couldn’t have eight goals if he had his scoring boots on.”
Weir was pleased to take three competition points but remained dissatisfied with a number of missed opportunities in front of goal.
