Kito’s Coffee and Global Dining is located inside The Piazza on Baylis Street and co-owner Rosie Powell said she was excited for the opening.
“Our business is a coffee shop with casual dining and a multicultural flair,” she said.
“Our family is quite diverse, we are Aboriginal Italian, with some Filipino, we have some Tongan family and with Wagga being so diverse we wanted to have something different.”
Using their heritage and a love for different cuisines, they have created a unique cafe-style menu Ms Powell said.
“We have eight burgers of the world, we have a Italian burger, a Filipino burger, a British burger but we still have your regular coffees and classic cafe meals,” she said.
“Once a month we are going to do a multicultural special, so a different country each month.
“Our first one is in the second week of July to celebrate NAIDOC week we will have a meal inspired by Indigenous Australian culture.”
Ms Powell said the cafe will also be offering meal deals and specials, specifically for families.
“I know what it’s like being in a big family and trying to eat out,” she said.
“We are trying to cater for that so it’s not so expensive."
The cafe will be open seven days a week. For more information click here.
