Carl Little, Shyeim Little, and Wayne Mark Murdoch all fronted Wagga’s District Court for trial on Tuesday after the Mill Street incident left a fourth man with a bullet lodged in his leg.
However, at the very last minute, Murdoch entered a plea of guilty, giving the court no choice but to delay the trial of the two Littles.
On Thursday, a new trial date of December 10 was set – the very last week the court will actually sit this year.
Carl Little has already been held in custody since the incident, while Shyeim has been granted bail.
With the trial still some six months away, Carl Little will have already been held on remand for almost two years by the time his case is heard.
All three men were charged with entering a house in company with the intention of causing intimidation while armed with a dangerous weapon, and Carl Little was also charged with discharging the firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Murdoch is due to be sentenced for his part in the incident on Friday in Wagga’s District Court.
The two Littles will have their case heard by a judge alone in a trial that is expected to last six or seven days.
