The second-placed Wolves are piling plenty of pressure on ladder-leaders Lake Albert and a win over Leeton on Saturday night would mark Tolland’s ninth victory this season.
“If we keep going the way we’ve been going this year, I’m confident we can get another win,” Lawrence said.
“But we’re not going to be taking them (Leeton) lightly.”
Leeton issued a warning to their mid-table rivals with after blasting three goals past Tumut last Sunday and loom as a potential banana skin game for the Wolves.
“They’re pretty similar to us in that they’re a quick side but it probably doesn’t seem like they’re having a good season so far,” Lawrence said.
“I noticed that Leeton beat Tumut at home though, so they’d have their tails up coming into this weekend and they’d definitely be keen to get up the competition table.”
The two sides last met in round one with Tolland coming up trumps with a 3-1 win at MIA Sports Field.
