Joshua Aaron Byrne and Matthew Thomas Cahill’s cases were before Wagga’s Local Court again on Wednesday morning.
The Director of Public Prosecutions was ready to proceed to a committal hearing for Byrne and Cahill, however, their defence representatives said they needed more time to hear back from a “road reconstruction expert” before they could proceed.
“Realistically, without the road reconstruction expert ... that may change the witnesses that we require,” the defence said.
Registrar Paul Fernon granted their request for another adjournment.
“Given the serious nature of the offences, I think that’s probably the way to go,” Mr Fernon said.
Byrne and Cahill will return to court on July 25.
