Barby was sent off during the second half of the 38-18 loss to Junee on Saturday and is facing a high tackle charge for a hit that left Junee front rower Simione Naiduki concussed.
It has been graded moderate meaning Barby is facing a three-game ban, which can be reduced to two with an early guilty plea.
Due to a charge from 2014, Barby is ineligible for a good behaviour reduction on his penalty.
Players need a five-year clear record for the first discount to apply.
Kangaroos have until 5pm Tuesday to decide whether to accept the two weeks or risk more at the judiciary.
