The Demons picked up a number of injuries but were still far too good for Tigers, winning 12.8 (80) to 5.5 (35) at Crossroads Oval.
A hamstring injury to full-forward Marc Geppert is the biggest concern after he left the ground early in the third quarter.
Collingullie-GP coach Luke Gestier also failed to finish the game with a reoccurring hamstring complaint, while Matt Klemke (head knock) and Brad McMillan (ankle) were also injured.
The Demons kicked seven first quarter goals to ensure the 2008 premiership reunions were celebrated with a win.
Geppert already had five goals to his name before he went off, while Ben Klemke and Blake Harper had strong games.
Gestier was happy with the win.
“We had a good quarter and a half and then the rain came in,” Gestier said.
“We set the standard early and seven goals in the first quarter set it up and that’s about it.
“After half-time it rained a lot, and it was cold, and the game turned to a scrap.”
Nick Ryan continued his strong season and was Tigers’ best, while Ben Kelly and Xavier Lyons also played well.
Gestier will know more about the injuries next week ahead of their game against Narrandera.
“We’ve got some concerns then in saying that, we should get a couple back,” he said.
