The Wanderers came close to pulling off an early upset when the two sides clashed back in round two but couldn’t find a winner in the 1-all draw.
Wanderers captain Rob Fry is expecting another tough contest this weekend.
“Our last game was a little bit disappointing, particularly the way we conceded our two goals, but the mood’s pretty good in the camp,” Fry said.
“I think it should be a good game against Hurstville FC.
“They’re traditionally one of the stronger teams in the competition but they’ve dropped off a little this year, so we’re expecting quite a contest.”
Fry has also been impressed with the Wanderers’ younger crop of players, singling out Nicholaas Van honk and Sam Jones.
“Nick was really good on debut and Sam’s been playing well too,” he said.
