2. Tarcutta Markets
On the look out for some knick-knacks, plants or just keen for a browse?
The Tarcutta markets are for you with a large range of stalls including home grown products, plants, homewares, jewellery, pre-loved goods and books.
When: Saturday June 16 from 8am to 2pm.
Where: Tarcutta Soldiers Memorial Hall, Sydney Street
Cost: Free
3. Open Mic Karaoke Competition
They’re on the hunt for the Riverina's next X Factor with the second Open Mic Karaoke Competition at Roseleigh the Witchery.
If you’re a fan of singing or listening to live music, this will fit your bill.
The top 5 performers from each competition night will battle it out in our final for the cash prize of $1000.
When: Saturday June 16 from 5pm to 11.30pm
Where: Roseleigh Manor, 1514 Pattersons Road, Harefield
Cost: Competitors preliminary heats $10 each, general public free. Competitors final ticket complimentary, general public $35 includes a 2-course set menu.
4. Take 5 Band Compassion Fundraising Concert
Local band Take 5 host a concert and dance once a month to raise funds for a cause they are passionate about.
Proceeds go to Compassion children in poverty overseas to help with their safety,health, education, nutrition and emotional security.
When: Sunday June 17 from 1 to 4pm
Where: Mount Austin School Hall. McKell Ave.
Cost: $5 entry, which includes afternoon tea.
5. Bonsai Society Beginner Class
If you are interested in bonsai and are not sure where to start, join the club and start at the beginning with the class to get a fantastic head start into this rewarding art form.
The lesson covers introduction to bonsai, creating a bonsai, soil tool, pots and transplanting your bonsai.
When: Saturday June 16, 1pm to 5pm
Where: ARCC Hall, 131 Tarcutta Street, Wagga
Cost: First lesson free, $3 for subsequent lessons
