Regular starter Andrew McCracken remains sidelined with a calf strain while back-up Gareth Veitch is no certainty to play.
It leaves coach Travis Weir with another conundrum as United look to turn their misfiring season around.
“We’re cautious not to get too far ahead of ourselves,” Weir said.
“It’s becoming almost comical the way we’re conceding goals … and we always find a way for things to go amiss.
Unite remain a mathematical chance of making finals but wins are at a premium.
“We’re still hoping we can be there in September,” Weir said.
“We’re playing Junee again and South Wagga twice plus we’ve still got Coota and Tumut again so there’s no reason we can’t get points out of those games.”

Fourth-placed Young will be out to quash United’s planned resurgence and have a strong record at home.
“Young are well drilled, well structured and they’re coached pretty well but we’re hungry to get a result,” Weir said.
“I think the boys are pretty keen to go over there on Sunday.”
Meanwhile, Leeton United are preparing for the long haul to Bull Paddock ahead of their mid-table showdown with sleeping Pascoe Cup giants Tumut this weekend.
The Eagles have shown glimpses of brilliance in 2018 and rank third in the competition for goals scored but have slid down the ladder off the back of tight losses against Cootamundra, Young and Tolland.
A Leeton win could see them leapfrog Tumut and push their finals claim.
