Lautaro has been given the top weight of 60 kilograms in a highly-competitive Springdale Heights Tavern Open Handicap (1400m) at Albury.
Lautaro has been off the scene for since August last year after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery to both fore legs.
A winner of five races for Dale, including the 2017 Southern District heat of the Country Championships, Lautaro was placed at metropolitan level last campaign.
Lautaro will go up against the likes of Class Clown, Cash Crisis, Tableaux, Nahema, Man Of Peace, Hangin’ With Willy and Willy White Socks.
The Albury track was rated a heavy 10 on Thursday morning ahead of Monday’s seven-race card.
