Moving to Wagga 14 years ago has proven to be a great decisions for Gioia Gianniotis after winning a Golden Crow award.
Principal architect and owner of GPG Architecture and Design, Ms Gianniotis was honoured to be named outstanding business leader from a very competitive group.
“The finalists were very accomplished women in their own right and fellow Women in Business members,” she said.
“I felt honoured that my work has been recognised. I am very passionate about architecture and construction and especially about being involved in the future of the built environment.

“After winning, I felt a real sense of responsibility that for me this journey is just at the beginning and that there is so much more I need to achieve and become involved in.”
When it comes to her management style Ms Gianniotis leads in a “democratic way.”
“By including others in the decision making process, I can foster a more creative environment that puts an emphasis on honesty and empowers those around me,” she said.
Like any good leader, Ms Gianniotis has a strong support team behind her from Women in Business, her GPG team, the Wagga community and, of course, her family.
“A special thank you to my successful husband (an award winner as well) and my two wonderful boys Oscar and Rohan. Their patience and love is constant and I am very blessed to have such a wonderful family.”
