A man has died following a crash on Wee Jasper Road at Bombowlee, eight kilometres from Tumut today.
It is understood the car left the road and hit an embankment at about 7:40am.
The 40-year-old male passenger was ejected from the car, and died at the scene. A report is now being prepared for the coroner.
The 17-year-old male driver was uninjured. He was taken to Wagga Hospital for scans and mandatory testing.
He is due to be interviewed by investigators once he is released.
