A man has died following a crash on Wee Jasper Road at Bombowlee, eight kilometres from Tumut today.

It is understood the car left the road and hit an embankment at about 7:40am.
The 40-year-old male passenger was ejected from the car, and died at the scene. A report is now being prepared for the coroner.
The 17-year-old male driver was uninjured. He was taken to Wagga Hospital for scans and mandatory testing.
He is due to be interviewed by investigators once he is released.
It is yet unknown what caused the vehicle to veer off course and collide with the embankment.
It comes just two weeks after a fatal collision on Gocup Road near Tumut. Also two weeks ago, a truck rolled near Bombowlee, resulting in major delays to traffic flow.
