The Demons led by 26 points heading into the final term but finished full of running to record a 17.11 (113) to 6.11 (47) win at Crossroads Oval.
Jimmy Kennedy produced a dominant performance through the midfield and kicked three goals in a best-on-ground display.
Collingullie-GP coach Luke Gestier hopes the big last quarter can get the undefeated Demons going moving forward.
“The biggest thing for us is to start to string a few games together now away from byes. It will be good to play a bit of footy now,” Gestier said.
Collingullie-GP lost another player to a hamstring injury, this time it was Ben Keith.
Aside from Kennedy, Jayden Klemke and Tom Keogh were very good, while Marc Geppert booted five goals, all before the big final term.
Gestier was happy with the overall performance.
“I was happy with it, and definitely the last quarter,” he said.
“We were good in the early stages but dropped off a bit. It’s not a training run though, there is opposition out there to play and they kept coming all day.
“I was pleased, we worked on a few things that will hold us in good stead moving forward.”
Josh Bubnich was best for the Lions.
