Ms Carmody, from Wagga has been dealing in antique jewellery for about 20 years.
“I bought an antique ring and fell in love with it,” she said.
Ms Carmody is just one of the stall holders from Wagga, Sydney and interstate who have their wares at the fair.
Kath Gaffney, from The Antique Linen Cupboard, had a stall stocked with pieces from Australia, as well as the United States and Britain.
She has been dealing in handmade haberdashery and linen for about 12 years.
“It’s a bit of a niche market, but handmade crafts are becoming a bit of a thing of the past,” Ms Gaffney said.
While pieces from the Edwardian period are some of Ms Gaffney’s favourites, she said the retro look of items from the 1950s and 1960s were currently popular.
The Wagga Antiques and Collectables Fair is being held at the Wagga Showground until 5pm on Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
