Kurrajong Race Day is known for its wide appeal – from serious punters and horse racing enthusiasts, to social racegoers and families. And it’s on tomorrow, Saturday, May 26.
You can pre-purchase your ticket to the Murrumbidgee Turf Club.
But, be warned children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

But you’ll need to get in quick! You can bag them from Hunters 1866, Kincaid St Cafe and Takeaway, Fitxpatricks Real estate and Kurrajong on Lord Baden Powell Drive.
2: Take the kids
It’s a family-friendly event by any standard. In fact, children are especially well looked after, with food and refreshments in their own hospitality area, plus an lots of rides and entertainment.
3: The money goes where?
Proceeds from the day benefit Kurrajong's work, which is to provide programs and support to over 1300 babies, children and adults with disability throughout the Riverina-Murray region.
4: Dress for the occasion
We’re looking at a pretty sunny day by all accounts – hurrah! Weatherzone is suggesting the chance of rain is just 5% and has tipped the mercury to “soar” to 21.
5: Don’t forget the horses …
The social side of the day may dominate for some, but actually for many, the horseflesh is all-important. We’ve turned to our sports team for the latest and great racing updates. You will probably need to that Nahema will kick off her first full preparation and that Fermanagh Lad is heading nominations for Estella Rise Cup. Here’s who sport editor Matt Malone has picked for his tips in every race.
