Repairs are currently underway, leaving all sections of the agriculture campus, except the Veterinary Clinical Centre, without gas until the repairs have been completed.
The Boorooma campus has not been affected.
“After the repairs are complete DFM staff and contractors will be attending individual buildings to ensure heating units are operating,” a CSU statement said.
“The university has anticipated it will be several hours before they are fully operational.”
This incident comes after two men died and another worker is fighting for life after inhaling a mystery toxic gas at a paper mill in southern NSW.
