Marketing manager Fay Walters said the Riverina Water Ten x 10 Play festival is celebrating its 10th birthday and this year 58 scripts were submitted for consideration.
“It’s 10 directors, 10 casts and 10 plays so it’s a big bite of the cherry,” she said.
“They are performed with 30 second intervals in two segments.”
The tag for this year is ‘personal persuasions’ and the stories covers a range of topics such as divorce, terrorism, nursing homes and the decision whether to tell a child Santa isn’t real.
The auditions for actors are being held on Saturday May 18 at the Basement Theatre to prepare for the festival hitting the stage between July 6-8 this year.
