It’s something he wants to improve ahead of their biggest test to date against Gundagai.

Junee were never behind in the game, but couldn’t really shake a persistent Dragons outfit.

They led 16-6 at the break, but Temora were first to score in the second half.

However Junee iced the win with tries to Matt Hands and Simione Naiduki iced the win.

“It was a scrappy game again, but the boys hung in,” Foley said. “Credit to Temora with having a few boys backing up but we went well.”

Front rower Fale Malase was the Diesels best while Hands was strong playing limited minutes in his return from injury.

Junee are currently second but have only defeated one other team in the top four, Brothers.

However Foley believes their start has put them in good stead to challenge some more of the top sides.

“It is a beautiful start from us, we just have to go on with it now,” he said.

“I think it has been good playing who we have in the first four weeks to get us better prepared to play these better sides.

“Gundagai will definitely be a challenge for us so we definitely have to turn up.”
