A man has been arrested at Wagga Police Station following an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of four children.

Police will allege the man sexually and indecently assaulted four children, aged between four and 12, between 2011 and 2018 in the Illawarra.
An 18-year-old man was arrested about 2.30pm on Wednesday after detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad commenced an investigation last month following reports four children had been sexually assaulted by a man known to them.
The man was charged with eight counts of have sexual intercourse with person aged between 10 and 14, six counts of indecent assault person under 16, and five counts of sexual intercourse with child under age of 10.
He was refused bail to appear at a children’s court on Thursday.
