Wagga City Council’s Tracie Miller said “volume two” would expand on the concept, bringing live music to more places.

“Wagga musicians don’t get many opportunities to play original music and after the first event some got ongoing work,” she said. “This isn’t just about a major event but bringing businesses and musicians together to make Fitzmaurice Street come alive.”

The second Fitz Live coincides with the Wagga Gold Cup, a weekend which traditionally brings thousands of visitors to the city.

Fitz Live runs from 11am to 7pm on Saturday, May 5.
