The Blacks will head into the clash without a couple of key players, but coach Craig Morriss has confidence in his side's ability to get the result.
“Our fullback will be out for a week or two at this stage,” he said.
“Dan McGreal will also miss the game because of a wedding, but the boys have been looking good at training so we should be in a good position.”
Morriss is cautious heading into the game knowing that Albury has made some improvements since the opening few rounds.
“Albury will be tough after picking up a couple of players in the last week or so,” he said.
“They picked up a few guys from the Northern Hemisphere and anyone who can pick those type of players; it’s going to be great for their club.”
Heading into the weekend Morriss hoping that his side is able to start like they did against CSU but there were still areas to improve on.
“We still gave away too many penalties,” he said.
“That is something we need to work on, and that comes down to the player's ability to make the right decisions.”
There will be plenty of changes to both sides as Albury looks to make it two wins on the trot against Griffith on Saturday.
The Steamers face the long trip to Exies Oval without star playmaker Richard Manion, but have been buoyed by the return of Arran MacDougall and Andrew Donaldson in the front row.
Forward Joe Druce is out Simon Clemence is also back available this week as is winger Lachlan Reid to help cover the loss of Manion.
Steamers coach Paul Mussara expects it will be a tough trip.
