Miller rode the first winner of the day, Calais View ($2.70) in the Maiden Plate (1000m).
Miller suffered a wrist injury in a fall at Nowra in January and only returned to race riding at Wagga on Tuesday.
Kyneton trainer George Osborne claimed the feature at Deniliquin with Shy Frank ($5.00) taking out the Anzac Day Cup Benchmark 70 Handicap (1600m).
Apprentice jockey Mikaela Lawrence was the winning jockey.
Albury trainer Andrew Dale was the only Southern District trainer to enjoy success with French Politician ($1.80) winning the Maiden Plate (1400m).
