Turner is expected to play his first game for the season against The Rock-Yerong Creek, while the Bombers will also welcome back captain Josh Hagar and best and fairest winner Jack Reynolds.
Marrar coach Shane Lenon is looking forward to welcoming Turner back.
“He’s still got to get through training but it all looks positive at this stage,” Lenon said.
“Turns will be a huge boost. He’s very important to the make up of our side. He’s very team orientated in the forward line and the players and the club love him.”
The reigning premiers have started the year with wins over Temora and Charles Sturt University, while the Magpies beat Barellan in the opening round, before falling to East Wagga-Kooringal by 47 points last Saturday.
Lenon expects the Magpies to come out firing on the big stage.
“It’s similar to Collingwood and Essendon, ladder and past form goes out the window a bit with this game,” he said.
“They will be keen to be playing in the Anzac game so we have certainly got to be wary. We’ll just concentrate on our own preparation and we’re looking forward to it because it’s one of the biggest games of the year.”
TRYC will hope to get back captain-coach Tom Yates from a quad injury after he missed last week’s loss to the Hawks.
The Magpies are unsure whether Josh Meiselbach will be available to return, while Tim Sullivan could be an inclusion.
Ben Farrell and Aiden Ridley are not expected to return from injury.
The Anzac ceremony will take place at 7.30pm with the game expected to start at 7.45pm.
