Wagga mayor Greg Conkey said the “Rural Command Performance”, a spoof of the UK’s annual Royal Variety Performance, would showcase the city’s best performers, both past and present.
“All proceeds from two performances of the Mayoress’ Charity Concert will go towards supporting proven youth development programs run through Wagga PCYC,” he said.
“The performance will showcase more than 30 performers who will be supported by renowned band Groove Factorie and feature the choreography of Katherine Fisher.”
The shows will be directed by Peter Cox with musical direction by David Wall and Peter J. Casey will take the reins as master of ceremonies.
The Mayoress’ Charity Concert will be held on Saturday, July 28 at 2pm and 7.30pm at the Civic Theatre.
Book tickets in person at the Civic Theatre ticket office, by phone or online.
