Rosellas are the oldest active hockey club in Wagga and will celebrate the anniversary with a diamond dinner at The Rules Club on Saturday night.
The undefeated Royals will be out to spoil Rosellas’ party when they meet in the division one clash on Saturday.
Rosellas were formed in 1943 and Royals are their oldest rivals.
Rosellas had a difficult start to the year with a 5-0 loss and an injury to Sammy Schubert before they had the week off last round.
CSU-Rivcoll face off against LAC United in the late women’s game with both teams having been outclassed by Royals in consecutive weeks.
Alison Eddie is unavailable for CSU-Rivcoll so back up keeper Jo McAuliffe will fill in again.
The reformed LAC United team have been impressive in the first two rounds despite the loss to Royals last week. Kellen Ristivojevic, in particular, looked in dangerous form last week.
In men’s division one, Royals will be out to make it three from three when they take on reigning premiers Harlequins on Saturday.
The return of Nathan Fisher and Nick Bamford will only help Royals’ chances after both were unavailable last weekend.
However, Harlequins will not want to let this match slip after losing to Lake Albert in the dying minutes of the opening round.
They gave Lake Albert a three goal head start, before levelling, then conceded a late goal to go down in what was a heartbreaking loss for the men in green.
In the other men’s division one match, Lake Albert and CSU-Rivcoll will both be looking for their first win of the season.
Both teams have gone down to Royals over the past two weeks.
Lake Albert are learning to live with life without Brendan Pottie, who has been a key component for them for many seasons.
CSU-Rivcoll could be in a similar position with goal keeper Scott Sippel, who is yet to appear this season for university team.
