On Friday, Wagga Base Hospital thanked the team for their latest donation of almost $152,00 from this financial year.
This funded the purchase of much-needed equipment such as EEG Machines for paediatrics, at the cost of $53,066.94, and six patient beds for nursing, at the cost of $21,672.
WWBH auxiliary chairmain, Rodney Parsons OAM, said he was thrilled the Auxiliary’s work was making such a difference and they aimed to get items on the hospital’s priority list.
“We are celebrating our tenth year and in our time we have supplied around one third of the hospital’s beds,” he said.
“We are extremely proud of our long association, support and fundraising activities for the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and the patients and staff we have helped over many years.”
“I would be happy if our work saved just one life.”
