North Wagga will run out in colours last seen by the club in 1957 when they take on Barellan on Saturday, but they’ll be missing key forwards James Morris (groin) and Daniel Jordan (knee) with minor injuries.

The Saints will wear the heritage colours of the North Wagga Stars – a white guernsey with a red star on the front – to celebrate 10 years since the club returned from a season in recess.
But North Wagga coach Kirk Hamblin wants their minds on the present, not the past, when they tackle the Two Blues.
“It’s a massive danger game. We're not really renowned for travelling well. And they've recruited some handy players so it won’t be easy,” Hamblin said.
Morris and Jordan pulled up sore after last week’s win against Coleambally and will a miss a week or two, while Jake May is unavailable and Tom Bennetts is yet to make his debut.
“Annoying as it is to have a few blokes out, it’s a massive positive to give games to guys who deserve it,” Hamblin said. “Guys who have worked hard in the pre-season and will get their chance now.”
North Wagga are set to use the Stars guernseys as an away (and clash) strip this season.
The original Stars wore the look in 1946, when the club re-formed after World War II. With materials in short supply, the players wore heavy, white cotton motorbike tunics with a star sewn on the front.
The Stars played in the Wagga league until 1957 when they merged with North Wagga Saints to form North Wagga FC, playing in Albury. They chose the red, black and white in recognition of North Wagga junior Bill Mohr who went on to play with St Kilda.
