Wagga shoppers were left in disarray after a nation-wide system failure hit Woolworths supermarkets across the city.
Marketplace, Gurwood Street and Kooringal stores were affected by the crash, which rendered registers and IT systems useless.
A store manager for Gurwood Street Woolworths said the systems failure hit shoppers just after 4pm but said registers were fully operational by 4.30pm
“The system was back up and running after 25 minutes or so,” he said.
Stores are now trading as per usual.
