The action was coming thick and fast for the goalkeeper as the Wanderers fell 6-1 to Hurstville City Minotaurs.
Their rivals hadn’t won a game so far this season, but proved a cut above at Rawlings Park.
The Minotaurs jumped out to a 2-0 lead after despite Caylum Barber getting one back after 30 minutes, two more goals from the visitors had the Wanderers on the back foot at half-time.
While the second half was an improvement, Fry believes the loss shows what needs to focused on going forward.
“It was a bit of a bad day at the office but it gives us plenty to work on and hopefully learn from for next week,” Fry said.
The Wanderers will get a chance to redeem themselves when they tackle FC Gazy Auburn in Wagga on Saturday.
The visitors are yet to win this season but still just below the Wanderers after three rounds.
