A lunch saw members of the community cook their favourite dishes representing their heritage. The menu included Australian thyme and wattle scones, an Indian dish qeema subzi pulao, Danish meatballs and momos from Nepal.
One of the board members of the Wagga Multicultural Council, Saba Nabi cooked one of her favourites Indian dishes, qeema subzi pulao, to share with the community, adding a little twist to make it more versatile.

“Sharing a meal and sharing a conversation is a great way to break down barriers,” he said.
