Amart Furniture’s launch is the latest development in the ongoing evolution of the Murrumbidgee Mill precinct.
The installment of major food chains such as Lone Star Rib House alongside a $27 million hotel deal has sparked the formerly quiet block and Amart Furniture will be a likely beneficiary.
Taking a video tour with store manager Rob Ristevski on Friday, March 16, the DA prowled more than 4000 square metres of stock ahead of the grand opening on April 5.
“We’ve got around 23 local staff on board and it’s already been pretty busy,” Mr Ristevski said.
“We haven’t even hit grand opening but people seem really interested.”
Amart Furniture spokesperson Joshua Clarke said the store held over 2000 items.
“It’s a pretty wide range and we’re pretty proud of what we’ve got here,” he said.
“Our service staff work off iPads and our operating systems all run with up-to-date technology, which is pretty appealing for customers as well.”
