One of the region’s most beloved charities, Country Hope is expected to benefit from the annual drive, with each team required to raise a minimum of $2500 before the ride.
More than 50 teams have been revving their way to Darlington Point across five days, taking on 500 kilometres of dirt road per day.
Organiser Gavin Gilbert on Wednesday said this year’s event had already raised more than $260,000.

“It saves them a lot of fundraising,” Mr Gilbert said. “That’s a lot of sausage sizzles they don’t have to do.”
Country Hope deputy-chairman John Studdert said the ride had been “absolutely unbelievable”, with drivers and supporters joining the trek from across the country.
“We’ve never had a fundraiser like this before,” Mr Studdert said. “It’s just incredible.”
He said the money would support the 24 Riverina children, who had been diagnosed with a serious illness in the past year.
