Unlike most of her six-year-old friends, the Wagga girl has already designed and debuted her own line of hair accessories, Zali Girl.
“I do all kinds of bows, some with spots and all kinds of colours,” she said.
Let’s face it – she’s a genius.
In fact, she’s already putting the finishing touches to her own Mortimer Place office.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Zali has a simple business philosophy.
“I really like bows so I decided to make bows for everyone,” she said.
“I design the bows myself and I run the stall with mum.”
Feature bows, spotted bows, bows for gymnastics and colourful treasures are just the norm for this tiny entrepreneur.
Since Christmas,‘Zali Girl’ has been slowly building up to its market debut on Sunday through social media and online impressions.
“We’d just been working on the website and putting a few things together so going the the markets last week was really our first outing,” Brooke said.
“We ended up selling 120 units – I could barely believe it.”
Now, the year one Mater Dei student is setting her sights on even greater heights.
“I really like the pink bows and have a few favourites but I want to keep making more,” she said.
The profits from her market stall alone will fund materials for her next batch and the rest is going to a pretty good cause too.
“It’s all going back into our family holiday fund – we’re all very excited.”
So, what’s next for ‘Zali Girl’?
“I think we’ll just be waiting for the next market and push our online brand.”
