The school is to get a new building to house a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) facility, which will include seven classrooms, four science labs, an outdoor learning area and staff room.
The NSW Government has contributed $1 million to the project, under its Building Grants Assistance Scheme.
The goal is to provide the school’s almost 700 students with education about the latest in emerging technologies, the school’s head of communication Karen Wilson said.
After 12 months of preparation, construction work is expected to begin in April, and is due to be completed by the start of the 2019 school year.
Future planning for the school includes the prospect of expansion of the school’s five-hectare agriculture plot.
